Poyser, Richard
Richard Poyser read Music and was an Academical Clerk at Magdalen College, Oxford after which he went on to complete a postgraduate course in vocal studies at the Royal Academy, London. After graduating he worked as a freelance soloist as well as performing regularly with The Sixteen and other professional choirs. When his first daughter was born he trained to be a classroom teacher and has been Director of Music at New College School, Oxford, since 2004. In his spare time, he likes to play the organ, compose, go for walks with his family and dog, to read in bed, and to cook.
