Mozart wrote ‘Al desio di chi t’adora’ as a replacement for Susanna’s aria ‘Deh vieni’ in the 4th Act of ‘Le Nozze di Figaro’ when it was revived in Vienna in July 1789. It is a beautiful piece with more depth than the original serenade style ‘Deh vieni’. It is not otherwise separately available for purchase except in this edition.
