The 15 Italian Arias (Arie Accademiche) are for soprano or tenor on texts by Metastasio. The authorship of numbers 7 & 13 is not certain. Aria no. 14 (G557) has a big cello obbligato which starts with the same theme as in the famous cello sonata in A (G4).
